Our Mission
The Heart of Illinois Big Brothers Big Sisters mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of children and youth, primarily through a professionally supported one-to-one relationship with a caring adult, and to assist them in achieving their highest potential as they grow to become responsible men and women by providing committed volunteers, national leadership and standards of excellence.

To develop successful mentoring relationships for all children who need and want them contributing to better schools, brighter futures, and stronger communities for all.
Agency Profile
Heart of Illinois Big Brothers Big Sisters provides volunteer adult mentors for youth, ages 5-12, in the Illinois counties of Peoria, Tazewell, Woodford, Knox, Marshall, Stark and Fulton. Heart of Illinois Big Brothers Big Sisters was started in 1980 and is an affiliate of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.
